Stunning Dachshund Who Looks Like an Ewok Completely Lights up During Ear Scratches
All dogs are cute, but we can't deny that some pups look like they've stepped straight out of a movie set. These dogs have a little something that stands out, or they happen to be doppelgängers of famous characters we already know. And when that happens, it's hard not to notice.
In this video, we meet a cute Dachshund who doesn't look like the typical wiener dog you'd picture in your mind. Instead, he looks like he has come from the Star Wars universe as one of the cute but underestimated Ewoks. He also happens to be incredibly dapper, stunning, and in love with ear scratches. TikTok user @stanthehotdawg shared a video of Stan, a Wirehaired Dachshund, patiently waiting for his mama to give him ear scratches. He's keeping an eye on her every move between pets. Then his whole face turns into blissful happiness when he's getting his mama's hand to scratch the perfect spot on his ears before lifting his chin to ask for a little there, too.
He's so charming, and his eyes have that old-soul vibe to them where you can see what he's thinking, and it's so precious. It also helps that he looks like a literal Ewok, those fuzzy bear-like aliens from the movie. The fur around his nose and mouth is a much lighter color than the rest of him, so it looks like he's got a beard. And it's easy to see why so many people in the comments are showering him with affection.

Wirehaired Dachshunds Are Wiener Dogs With Differently Textured Fur
If you've never seen a Dachshund who looks like Stan, looking more like a Schnauzer in ways, or the fictional Ewok, they get their unique look from the texture of their coat.
According to Purina, the coat on these Dachshunds is "hard and wiry," which means they can form the perfect beard and mustache, like the one Stan is rocking. They also have that longer, wirier fur on their eyebrows, which definitely helps draw focus to their big, beautiful eyes.
The site explains that these pups can come in a variety of coat colors, like the typical Dachshund, and their personalities are similar-bold, courageous, lively, silly, and hard to affectionate.
