PHOTO: Bruce Springsteen lights up SF with three-hour show

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played for three hours on Monday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco during a stop in their Land of Hope and Dreams tour.

Lit by a single beam of light, "The Boss" started the show with a speech about the current state of our country.

"Tonight, we ask all of you to join with us in choosing hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness, ethics over unbridled corruption, resistance over complacency, truth over lies, unity over division and peace over ... WAR! "

That led into the first song of the night, a fitting cover of The Temptations' hit, with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello at Springsteen's side.
