California’s largest water park, located outside Clovis, set to add new attraction

Wild Water Adventure Park, the largest water park in California, is about to get bigger.

And more fun and relaxing.

The 52-acre water park in east Clovis announced that it will begin building a looping lazy river.

Called “Endless River,” the new attraction is expected to be ready when Wild Water Adventure Park reopens next summer.

Co-founder and longtime owner Kathy Siggers said the lazy river was the most requested attraction for the park to add.

“We have been planning this for a long time,” said Siggers, whose husband founded the water park in 1973. “It’s an engaging attraction. You can talk to your friends or family and relax.

“It’s meant for tiny ones and senior citizens, and anyone in between. The park experience will be much more interactive.”

Kathy Siggers, owner and COO of Wild Water Adventure Park, unveiled the plan to expand by creating a new water feature called Endless River with a ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 in Clovis, CA.

The river will be built where there once was two softball diamonds inside the park.

The river will flow in a counterclock direction and measure out roughly 900 linear feet long, 14 feet wide and between 30 to 66 inches deep.

A beach area also will be built and will help provide an entry to the river to go along with multiple access points.

In addition, there are plans for food and drink stands along the lazy river.

The lazy river is Wild Water’s most significant addition since its wave pool was installed in 1987. Siggers said the park’s wave pool is the biggest in California.

“This property is something that’s created memories for generations,” said Nathan Magsig, a Fresno County Board of Supervisor. “With this endless river addition, it’s something that’s going to attract people from all over the Central Valley to enjoy and bring families together.”

Siggers said the biggest holdup in making the lazy river come to fruition sooner was finances.

“We’re a mom and pop,” Siggers said. “We don’t have any corporate structure. Every year, we got closer (to building a river sooner), the costs would go up.

“But we’re very confident that we can do it within a budget. We feel the community will be there to support us. My husband has been dreaming about this for years. ”

Season passes for 2026 are on sale for a limited time at $69.99.
