Wedding expo, sale benefits cancer patients
Brides Against Breast Cancer will host a bridal expo and wedding gown sale Sunday, July 19, that doubles as a fundraiser for the organization.
The event runs from 2-5 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton, 2233 Ventura St. The show is free, but $20 tickets are available to a VIP event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring giveaways and a first look at the gowns.
About 10 to 12 vendors will include a DJ and a photographer. Dresses for sale range from $75 to $1,800.
The event is a fundraiser for the Health Support Network. The nonprofit funds 150 online-based support programs for cancer patients and their families.
