Free chicken wings (or something like them) on Saturday’s National Chicken Wing Day
Saturday is National Chicken Wing Day and you can get free wings – or something resembling wings – that day.
There are strings attached though, so pay attention to the fine print.
First, Wingstop will give away five free boneless wings with any wing purchase between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday. Of course, boneless chicken wings aren’t wings at all, but chunks of breast meat.
Buffalo Wild Wings – or “B-Dubs” as their PR person calls them – has a deal that day too. A small order of boneless wings (which don’t come from buffaloes, either) plus a side of fries will cost $9.99. Or, get a small order of traditional wings plus a side of fries for $12.99.
Hooters is giving away 10 of its new smoked wings with the purchase of any 10 wings. Choices include bacon-wrapped, boneless, original and naked wings, along with wings tossed in its Daytona Beach sauce.
