This guy gets around: Santa’s schedule at Valley malls

Santa is busy this year, zooming his sleigh all over the Valley for visits with children.

A list of where you can find him is below.

But first, look at how high-tech Santa’s elves have gotten at Fashion Fair mall.

They’ve partnered with HGTV to create an interactive “Santa HQ” (headquarters) set up. They’re using phones and tablets to give kids “elf-ray vision” so they can see elves while waiting for Santa. Kids can also take an “elfie selfie” and star in their own holiday videos. Brave ones can step up to the Naughty O’ Nice meter. Of course, there’s photos with Santa, too.

Fashion Fair: From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Dec. 1; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3. From Dec. 4 through Dec. 11 he is available 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 12 through Dec. 23 and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Deaf and hard of hearing children can visit Santa with the help of an interpreter from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays Dec. 6, 13 and 20.

Hanford Mall: Dec. 1 through Dec. 23 Santa is available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Eve hours run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pet photos with Santa: From 4-8 p.m. Mondays Dec. 5 and 12.

River Park: Santa will visit with children in a log cabin in front of the theaters with free hot cocoa, snow flurries every hour and more. Santa’s full schedule is available online at Facebook.com/RiverParkSanta. He is generally available from 3-9 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 8 (starting earlier on weekends). He starts earlier in the day as the month goes on, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week before Christmas and until 4 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Sierra Vista Mall: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Dec. 24. All visits are at the mall’s center court.

Pet photos with Santa: 6-9 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11.

Storytime with Santa: 10 a.m., Dec. 7.

Visalia Mall: Now through Dec. 15, Santa is available from noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Dec. 16 through Dec. 23, Santa will be available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. On Christmas Eve, Santa is there from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. but will be on a break feeding the reindeer between 2:30 and3:30 p.m. All visits are at the mall’s Fashion Court by Macy’s.
