Power cut to 700 in north Fresno during morning outage. Most have lights back on

About 700 people were without power after an early Tuesday morning outage in north Fresno, Pacific Gas & Electric reported.

By 10 a.m., the number of affected customers was down to 217, PG&E said. It said that all customers had power restored by 3 p.m. and said the outage was caused by an equipment failure.

The outage started at 6:26 a.m. and at its height reached from North Cedar to North Palm avenues , and from Alluvial Avenue north to just a few blocks from Nees Avenue.
