Downtown traffic engineers asleep at the wheel

What the heck? The stoplight system downtown is so flawed.

A few examples: Broadway and Inyo streets should be a flashing red light. About 99 percent of the time there is no cross traffic.

Tulare and H streets has to be the worst. The left turn signal takes forever. Again, why not a flashing red light?

On Tulare and G streets, high-speed rail construction is blocking westbound traffic. It's like waiting for a train for those lights to turn! And lastly at Tulare and Mariposa streets, it takes so long to wait with nowhere to go.

I hope the city of Fresno will give the green light to make these changes.
