Car slams into home late Sunday in Visalia

A car that slammed into a house in Visalia late Sunday night caused an estimated $10,000 in damage, the fire department reported.

The incident took place at 11:18 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Chelsea Court. There were two occupants in the car and five residents in the home. The two in the car were take to the hospital and those in the home were uninjured.
