Are you looking for a new job in Fresno area in 2022? If so, we want to hear from you

Economic recovery, jobs, and wages are still top concerns for many Fresno households.

In a recent survey published by the UC Merced Community and Labor Center, one in three Fresno city voters said that the loss of income was one of the most important issues caused by the pandemic that is impacting their households.

Fresno’s unemployment rate stood at 7% as of December 2021, according to the latest report from California’s Economic Development Department.

While this is much better than this time one year ago, when the county recorded an unemployment rate of 10%, the region still hasn’t caught up to pre-pandemic employment rates. In late 2019, just months before the global COVID-19 outbreak, Fresno County had an unemployment rate of 5.3%, a record-low rate for the region in the past 30 years.
