Travis Kelce Reacts to Dolly Parton's Request for 1st Baby With Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is responding to Dolly Parton's lighthearted request to "have" the first baby he welcomes with his now-wife, Taylor Swift.

After the newlyweds donated a reported $26 million to various charities ahead of their star-studded Friday, July 3, wedding at the iconic Madison Square Garden, the queen of country music praised the couple by making a somewhat unorthodox request.

"Taylor and Travis, it's Dolly, and I was just told that you two were making a donation of $2 million to my Imagination library. I'm blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude," Parton said in a video shared via Instagram on Friday. "Now, it's evident that you have made giving back a key part of your lives, so hey, when you have your firstborn, can I have it? Because that is gonna be one special baby!"

Kelce responded by simply "liking" the post - another sign that starting a family is perhaps not too far into the future for the newly-minted husband and wife.

In fact, back in August 2025 - after the pair announced their engagement following two years of dating - a source close to the couple exclusively told Us Weekly that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the pop star "absolutely" want to have a baby.

"They absolutely want a family," the insider said at the time. "Their dream is to have kids."

According to the source, the pair don't plan to wait to long to start expanding their family either, especially as both Kelce and Swift are in "great" place in their respective careers, with Kelce likely close to retirement and Swift coming off her history-making Era's Tour and another hit album release.

"She's in a great space in her career and with her success and she can take some time away, "the insider went on to explain."

On Friday, Kelce and Swift said "I do" in front of more than a reported 1,000 of their nearest and dearest friends and family members, marking one of the biggest pop culture moments in recent memory.

"The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Coutoure. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and haute Coutoure Collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom," a rep for Swift revealed via a press release sent shortly after the pair officially wed. "This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. [Both of] their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry."

According to the same statement, Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as Taylor's "Man of Honor," while Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, served as Travis' Best Man.

"The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler," the statement also revealed.

"The ceremony was great, moving," George Stephanopoulos said via a message read on-air by reporter Sophie Flay regarding the ceremony. "Adam Sandler [was] funny and touching. Vows: everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply moving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?"
