QVC Stars Celebrate Mother's Day With the Best Advice From Their Own Moms
This Mother's Day weekend, QVC's biggest stars can't help but give thanks to the moms in their lives.
Before they were hosting shows or selling their successful brands on the home shopping channel, many familiar faces from the Q grew up with a supportive mom.
"To all the moms out there - Happy Mother's Day," fashion designer Lawrence Zarian exclusively shared with Us Weekly. "Thank you for your love, your strength, your grace and for loving BEAUTIFUL by Lawrence Zarian the way you do. After all, what I do is for you - a celebration of style & fashion for women of all shapes, ages and glorious size. I see you, and if someone hasn't told you this today, you are beautiful. You are loved, truly."

"When it comes to Mother's Day, I've always believed every day is Mother's Day.
As a proud Mama's boy, my BEAUTIFUL mom, Doris, taught me how to live - really live. She would always say, ‘Enjoy all those good things,' and she meant it. Enjoy life. Your family. The little moments, the precious ones that become everything.
She taught me to stay curious, to ask questions, to lean in and to have fun. And here's the part - my mom went to design school in Berlin and then, after her boys had left the nest, made her way into retail, becoming one of the last true ‘shop girls' at a high-end store here on the West Coast. She loved her customers and they loved her. They trusted her. She would help them feel beautiful. I mean, I guess that apple didn't fall too far from the tree. HA!
As you know, my mom loved her garden. She had such a green thumb and her
greatest lesson? Relationships are like a garden. Each one needs something different. Some need a little extra water. Others need more sunshine. And if you tend to them with love, they grow into something beautiful, something unique beyond words.
She was also that mom - the one everyone reached out to, called, needed when they felt alone for advice, for a laugh, for that extra dose of love when you didn't even know you needed it. Doris rocked. Period.
I carry this with me every day. Because of my work, I was always traveling - always on a plane, always on the go. And without fail, before every flight, she would say, ‘I love you, sweetheart. Let me know when you land. Angels on your Wings.' Now it's a tradition I carry forward with my friends, my family - anyone I love. When they travel, we say it to each other: ‘Angels on your Wings.' And the tradition continues, every time I hear it, I smile. I think of my mom. So when someone says it to you, think of me. Think of sweet Doris."

"The best advice my mother ever gave me was this: You can do anything you want in life, and you can be anyone you choose. She even told me I could be president if I wanted. Just work hard and stay focused on your goals - and she was right."
QVC Host Tori Mistick
"My mom taught me to say yes to the opportunities that feel bold and a little uncertain. To go after big things, even when they feel out of reach and trust that I'll figure it out along the way. That's how I approach my work and life … and it's usually how the most memorable moments happen!"
