The entertainment options this week are a wide mix. Along with the big draws – Cage the Elephant’s “Spring Fling” tour at Save Mart Center and week two of the Rogue Festival in the Tower District – there’s a local all-ages rock show, some comedy and a beer fest (please drink responsibly).

Final show, part deux

The event: A one-night only resurrection for the all-ages nightclub Kuppajoe, with Days Under Authority, Anchor City, Mercy Fist, and Light Of Mine.

The draw: It’s been almost a year since Kuppajoe closed its doors after more than 18 years. Here, the venue hosts the kind of show it was known for with four young, local rock bands.

Details: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Kuppajoe, 3673 N. First St. $8-$10. All ages. Search Kuppaoe on Facebook.

Two men, two-faced, one show

The event:Charlatans,” a storytelling comedy show from Tommy “Rev” Nugent and Shane “Scurvy” Spears.

The draw: This is essentially a Rogue Festival show, though it’s not officially part of the festival. Nugent and Spears, both well known Rogue acts (Nugent even had his own group of fanatics), created a completely new performance that is sure to be quick-witted and filled with off-the-wall banter (and razorblades and an animal trap, apparently).

Details: 10:45 p.m. Thursday, March 10, and Friday, March 11, at Fresno Soap Co., 1470 Van Ness Ave. $10 cash, at the door. 559-301-2841,

DisMantled comedy

The event: The DisMantled Show. Touring night of stand-up comedy featuring Justin Rupple, Joe Dosch, Mitcz Marzoni and Alex Mandelberg, plus an after-show Q&A session.

The draw: A stand-up show that really delves into the male psyche. Each comic represents a certain type of man – married and gay, single and in relationships.

Details: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, and 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Mother Mary’s, 1345 N. Willow Ave. $5. 559-299-4242,

Tapped out

The event: Tapped Brew Fest Fresno. This nighttime beer carnival stops at the Fresno Fairgrounds, with games, food trucks, a DJ ... and beer, obviously.

The draw: Bottomless beer (from 30 breweries). The traveling festival sells itself on “craft beer and regional brewing heritage.” Also its games, like monster beer pong (played with 55 gallon drums), LED corn hole and giant black light Jenga.

Details: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S. Chance Ave. $40-$60 VIP. 480-788-9360,
