Visual art is integral in any good music scene – and vice versa. The Fresno Underground Art collective tips a knowing hat to the fact with its “We Can Be Heroes Music and Artshow.” The show will feature artwork inspired by rock stars who have died: David Bowie, for example, whose lyrics obviously inspired the show’s name. Expect to see musician-inspired skate decks, T-shirts and original prints. As a bonus, music will be provided open-mic style during the night. Details: 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Tioga Sequoia Beer Garden, 745 Fulton St. This is a free all ages, event. Search Fresno Underground Art on Facebook.
