The 559 Fest celebrates the sound of the Central San Joaquin Valley. More than a dozen acoustic, hip-hop and reggae bands will play the free, all-ages festival at Peeve’s Public House on the Fulton Mall. That includes songwriter George Anthony, rapper MC Wicks and the reggae collective Irie Sun. This is the first is what organizers hope will be series of locally sourced concerts. Details: 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Peeve’s Public House, 1243 Fulton Mall. This is a free, all-ages event. 559-573-5735, 559 Fest on Facebook.
