Passport Approved showcases international acts at Fulton 55

Those with long memories may recall Sat Bisla from his days hosting a weekly radio show on KKDJ-FM The Edge. Bisla’s current project on New Rock 104.1 is “Passport Approved,” an independent syndicated radio show featuring up-and-coming international artists – think Lorde, Kongos, Coldplay and Lily Allen before they were big. The Passport Approved tour is a live version of the radio show, bringing international bands into clubs. It stops Monday, Nov. 2, at Fulton 55, and features the Swiss band Death By Chocolate, Australian rock band Evol Walks and American songwriter Sean Kelly. Details: 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, Fulton 55, 875 Divisadero St. Tickets: $8-$10, 559-412-7400, www.fulton55.com.
