Halestorm plans two sets for Rainbow Ballroom concert

Lzzy Hale is well on her way to being rock royalty. The guitar-shredding singer led her band Halestorm to the top of Billboard’s mainstream rock chart three times – one of just three female-front rock bands to earn the honor. In September, the band proved its heavy-metal prowess at the Rock In Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, where the Alice Cooper-led super group Hollywood Vampires invited Hale to perform “Whole Lotta Love.” Halestorm plays two different sets at a special “evening with Halestorm.” Details: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Rainbow Ballroom, 1725 Broadway St. Tickets: $26.50, 559-264-6404, www.ticketweb.com.
