The Kings River Bluegrass Festival returns after a one-year hiatus, with eight California bluegrass and country bands and an after-festival jam session following the final performance.

The day-long event begins with Sunday morning gospel from the The Old Time Gospel Aires and ends with a headlining set from Red Dog Ash from Turlock.

The festival, sponsored by the California Bluegrass Association, celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2012.
