Sci-Fi Caper leads Fresno indie rock showcase at Peeve’s Public House
Fresno twee-pop trio Sci-Fi Caper leads a local lineup for a free, all-ages show at Peeve’s Public House.
While the show is not quite an annual tradition, it is a carbon-copy of one that happened last year and serves as good introduction to local underground indie music. Sci-Fi Caper is joined by the folk-punk band Tyrannosaurus Zebra and post-punk shoegaze group Midwest Moms. All three bands have been part of the Friendcore movement, a group of DIY bands and musicians generally headquartered around the C.A.F.E. Infoshop in Fresno’s Chinatown.
