King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard to play Visalia’s Cellar Door on U.S. tour
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard provide exactly the kind of music its name suggests. The Australian seven-piece (there are two drummers) band creates epic psychedelic jams, pulled straight from some summer-of-love commune. The band’s last album was four songs and ran more than 40 minutes — trippy.
Its new record, “Paper Mache Dream Ballon” is out Nov. 13 on ATO Records — home to Alabama Shakes and My Morning Jacket.
King Gizzard just kicked off its U.S. summer tour.
