Two chances to see San Francisco’s Battlehooch
San Francisco’s Battlehooch is on a list of psychedelic indie pop revivalists like Tame Impala, Thee Oh Sees and Foxygen.
The sextet plays what it describes as a “mutant strain of kaleidoscopic rock and roll.” It is psychedelic, modern pop, mixed with dance-centric rhythms and electronic textures.
The band is currently on tour in support of its “Wink” EP and “Type One Error,” a digital single released in May.
Battlehooch does a two-night stint in the Central Valley, playing Friday, Aug. 7, in Fresno and Saturday, Aug. 8, in Visalia.
