Third Sol plays Arte Americas Nights in the Plaza concert series

Arte Americas is the midst of its annual Nights in the Plaza summer concert series.

The Friday-night concerts feature local and regional bands playing Latin jazz, mariachi, Mexican blues, AfroLatin world beats and cumbiabilly (it’s rockabilly meets cumbia). It all happens against the backdrop of the museum’s outdoor plaza (and downtown). This week’s concert features the Latin rhythm band Third Sol from the East Bay.

Nights in the Plaza runs through Sept. 18, when the Santana tribute Heavy Weather plays.
