Rainey Qualley, Casey James and Gloriana play $5 concert series
For the third installment of its annual $5 Summer Concert series, the radio station Kiss Country brings in an upstart singer, an American Idol and super-star trio.
Rainey Qualley opens the night, with her bold and bluesy country rock. The young singer released her debut EP “Turn Down the Lights,” in June.
Joining Qualley is Texas singer Casey James. James was a finalist on the ninth season of “American Idol,” before landing a deal with Sony Music Nashville for his self-titled debut album in 2012.
Headlining the night is Nashville trio Gloriana. The band, which was hand-picked for an opening slot with Taylor Swift, among others, released its third studio album, “Three,” in June.
