Hmong Music Festival returns to fairgrounds
Over its four years, the Hmong Music Festival has become a platform for cultural identity.
The annual event celebrates and grows Hmong pop culture by showcasing established and up-and-coming musicians and designers, dancers and DJs from across the globe. Music is the main attraction, but the event also features fashion and dance shows, an art exhibition and a red-carpet kickoff for good measure.
This year’s lineup includes popular Hmong rock band The Sounders, plus rapper Death Rhyme, singer Vanna Moua, the pop-punk group Light of Mine and more.
