ApCal hosts Rock-a-Palooza

ApCal winery’s Rock-a-Palooza is what Lollapalooza would have sounded like in the late ’70s. The afternoon music festival features tributes to four classic-rock giants — Foreigner, ZZ Top, AC/DC and Journey — as done by the bands Foreigner Unauthorized, Beer Drinkerz & Hell Raiserz, Fuse Box and Midnight Run.

This is the start of a series of monthly music festivals at the Madera events center. That includes a Latin music festival April 25 and a country showcase May 2.
