Omaha emo band Cursive returns to Fresno

You’ve got to be a longtime indie-rock fan to remember the last time Cursive played in Fresno. It was 2004 at Big Game Studios, a downtown venue situated next to a steakhouse. It no longer exists. The Omaha emo band did play Visalia a few years later, but it’s been six years since local fans have seen them perform live.

In November, Saddle Creek records released an expanded, deluxe reissue of the Cursive’s break through album “The Ugly Organ.” The band is touring in support of the album, playing an extended set of songs, mostly from that era.
