Today’s hot concert ticket is the hip-hop duo Atmosphere

Here is a public service announcement for hip-hop fans.

Atmosphere is playing Fresno Aug. 15 at Strummer’s and if you sleep on this show at all, you’ll likely won’t get in. Tickets are $29.50 and on sale now (like, right now) online and at Strummer’s when it opens at 5 p.m. tonight. The show is all ages and will likely sell out – and quick.

Here’s why: Slug and Ant are way more popular than the size of the venue would lead you to believe. The duo didn’t officially headline last year’s Grizzly Fest, but, from the feeling in much of the crowd it was clear Atmosphere was who they were there to see.

So, the thought of rocking with them in a intimate club setting is making people giddy.

The stop is part of Atmosphere short-run Welcome to California tour, with ZuluZuluu, Greg Grease and DJ Just Nine.

Before that, Atmosphere will no doubt be busy with its Soundset music festival –the biggest hip-hop and rap festival in the world happens Memorial Day weekend in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
