‘Baywatch’ first look: Cast photo released for film out next year

It’s out with the Hoff and in with the Rock. A photo of the cast for the big screen version of “Baywatch” was released one year before the movie hits theaters.

Dwayne Johnson will be in charge of the slow motion-running lifeguards taking over for David Hasselhoff.

The big-screen adaptation of the TV series, whichy became a sensation around the world, follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Zac Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.

The cast also includes Alexander Daddario as Summer Quinn. She played Johnson’s daughter in the film “San Andreas.”

Priyanka Chopra makes the leap from the FBI in “Quantico” to the beach as she will play Victora Leeds.
