Changes at The Beehive
Hi Beehive community. You might have noticed that The Beehive looks a bit different today. We’ve migrated our blog away from WordPress and into The Fresno Bee’s publishing system.
Why?
1. It’s a workflow issue. We’ve all been working in multiple systems for years, which may not sound like a big deal but has meant doing a lot of work 2 or 3 times. It’s a drag! Now we can do the work once and share it in a lot of places to reach more readers.
2. Exposure. The move gives our content a lot more reach and a higher profile. Now, one of our quips can circulate through other Bee products.
3. Less work for you. It means a lot fewer posts asking you to click a link to read the full story. We hope you like that change!
You shouldn’t notice much of a difference. The new homepage includes our blog roles – and a new bonus list of venues and our calendar listings. And we’ve included a link back to our Beehive archive, too. The www.fresnobeehive.com link will continue to take you to our content.
