UPDATE 4/21: Congratulations to winners Jasmin Kloos and Carlos Mendoza.

ORIGINAL POST: You don’t want to miss this special Fresno Philharmonic concert.

Maestro Theodore Kuchar, who has conducted the orchestra for 15 years, on Sunday will lead a Masterworks concert for the last time in his tenure as music director. (He still has one pops concert, on May 15, to go.) The program includes Prokofiev’s great score for the film “Alexander Nevsky” featuring the Fresno Community Chorus Master Chorale and international star mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor, a Clovis native.

We’re giving away two pairs of tickets to the concert (3 p.m. Sunday, April 24, Saroyan Theatre) to readers. To enter, leave a comment answering this question: What would you like to say to Maestro Kuchar on this occasion?

One comment/entry per person, please. The winners will be chosen at random and notified via email or Facebook message. These are paper tickets, so if you’re a winner, you’ll need to be able to come down to The Bee’s office and pick them up at the front counter. The deadline for entry is noon Wednesday. Be sure to check your email around that time to see if you’re a winner.
