See Fresno Beehive bloggers give themselves the Powerpuff treatment
The Powerpuff Girls were trending hard over the weekend, partly due to a relaunch of the Emmy-winning animated series (which originally aired on the Cartoon Network from 1998-2005 and features the voice of Clovis West graduate Amanda Leighton) and partly because of a handy-dandy new website that allows you to create a Powerpuff girl (or boy) in your likeness.
The Beehive bloggers, all being serious journalists, Powerpuffed ourselves; for purely journalistic reasons, obviously and not because it was totally cute and fun or anything like that.
▪ Retail/food blogger Bethany Clough wonders why she doesn’t have a nose.
▪ Beehive editor Kathy Mahan looks fierce.
▪ Arts reporter Donald Munro is less of a hipster in real life.
▪ Film critic Rick Bentley’s Powerpuff looks like he should be in art school.
You can share your Powerfuff on Twitter to get the full GIF affect.
