Comedian and podcast personality Joe Rogan bringing Sacred Clown tour to Fresno
Joe Rogan is coming back Fresno — a city he once referred to as “sketchy” on his popular podcast.
But he did like the food.
The comedian, podcast host and on-air UFC personality is slated to perform Dec. 4 at the Save Mart Center on his Sacred Clown tour. Tickets for the show run $39.50-$110 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the box office or at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prealses start Wednesday.
He plays the following night at the Golden One Center in Sacramento.
Rogan is a multi-layered celebrity, known for his stand-up performances (Netflix released his special “Strange Times” in 2018), his long running and often rant-laden podcast (which currently stands at 1,431 episodes) and his mixed-martial arts commentary for the UFC.
As proof of his popularity, Rogan added a show when he came to the Saroyan Theatre in 2018.
And back in November, he raved out Chef Paul’s Cafe in downtown Fresno: “Duuuude. You know how sometimes you’re on the road and you find a place that is just (expletive) off-the-charts good?” Rogan said to Greg Fitzsimmons during the podcast.
“If you’re in Fresno, ladies and gentlemen, Chef Paul’s Cafe. I (expletive) give it two thumbs up. Five stars.”
