Anytime’s good for eggnog. Local dairies release limited run of the drink for Easter
For marketing purposes, it seems obvious someone would make Easter eggnog; what with the day’s association with eggs and the built-in alliteration.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Producers Dairy announced on Wednesday the release of a limited-time only Easter version of the Christmas treat. It comes in a pastel container and will be available at Save Mart and FoodMaxx in April.
And the dairy isn’t alone in celebrating the Easter holiday with nog.
Rosa Brothers Milk Company also announced on Wednesday that its Easter Egg Nog is in stores now.
“Our all natural Easter Egg Nog made its debut last Spring and is back by popular demand,” according to a post on Instragram.
Eggnog is a sweetened dairy drink that you can make yourself. It’s done with milk or cream, sugar and eggs (obviously) and mostly associated with Christmas.
It often gets boozed up, which according to Forbes means it can be aged for up to a year. So, you can start now for Easter 2020.
