“Hijas de Su Madre” – This Spanish-language theater piece, on tour from Mexico, tells the story of a wife who teams up with her husband’s mistresses. That’s mistresses, plural, because it’s a comedy. Dark Sky Festival – Here is your chance to go see the stars; like, really see them, without any artificial light getting in the way. Shaver Lake Brew Fest – Reasons to attend: 1.) You like beer, specifically the beer of the craft variety. 2.) You like to keep things local. This brew fest promises a strong local showing of breweries both big (Riley’s Brewing Co., Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company) and small (Fortiter Brewing, Pine & Palm Brewing and Full Circle Brewing).
