Fresno Bee readers show off 65 beautiful flower pics for ArtHop
Fresno Bee readers are “Wild About Flowers.”
This has been a great season for wildflowers, and as they do every year, photographers for The Bee fanned out across the central San Joaquin Valley capturing beautiful images of the orange poppies and fiddlenecks, yellow wild mustard, white popcorn flowers, red maids and blue cluster lilies and other blooms that make spring such a delight in these parts. When those photos were published Feb. 20, we asked readers to submit their own photos for possible inclusion in an April ArtHop crowd-sourced exhibition in The Bee’s main lobby.
The result is a show featuring 65 top reader photos from 375 submitted via email and social media.
You can see the work during the ArtHop exhibition, which will remain on view through the month. And if you show up a few minutes before 5:30 p.m., you’ll be able to take a special guided tour of The Bee.
