Presale ticket info released for Jerry Seinfeld show at Saroyan Theatre
Update: Presales tickets for Jerry Seinfeld’s Fresno date are available starting 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 24 and running through 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25. The are available online with the presale code “comedy.”
Original story: Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is back on the road, though he won’t be getting coffee and there’s no word if he’ll be traveling by car.
The stand-up comedian, whose series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” streams weekly on Crackle, returned to the stage in 2016 with a new tour. It will stop in Fresno on Thursday, April 7, at the Saroyan Theatre.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, and are available at the box office, select Vallarta and Save Mart supermarkets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. Prices for the Fresno date have not been announced, but tickets to other shows on the tour are selling for $62.50-$147.50, according to Ticketmaster.
Seinfeld is a major name in comedy. He is No. 12 on Comedy Central’s list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time. His namesake sitcom, which ran for nine seasons during the 1990s, was groundbreaking and successful. His current stand-up tour ranks among the highest grossing in the U.S., averaging $653,319 a show.
The comedian last played at the Saroyan Theatre in 2012.
