The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (PG-13)

Directed by: Francis Lawrence

Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Jeffrey Wright, Woody Harrelson, Josh Hutcherson

The pitch: Katniss Everdeen goes on one last mission to find a way to end the revolution. The efforts will cost her both emotionally and physically.

The formula: Fire up the troops with bits of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.” Lead the charge with moments from “Winter’s Bone.” Declare victory with a touch of “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.”

Go see it: If you have seen all the other movies. Why stop now?

Don’t go see it: If you don’t know Everdeen from an evergreen.

Clever work: Philip Seymour Hoffman filmed several scenes before his death, but it took some changes in the script and a few special effects to get his character in the film to the end.
