Collectibles show set for Saturday

The Clovis Amvets “3rd Annual Collectible Show” will feature dealers selling comics, pop culture items, hot wheels, sports items and other collectibles. There will be one merchant with one of the largest collections of Pop! figures by Funko. The Pop! line includes figures based on comic book characters along with toys based on TV shows, films, video games and more. Also planned for the one-day event is a Model Building Contest and a Costume Contest. Details: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Clovis Memorial Building, 808 4th St. There is no entrance fee and each attendee receives a free “goodie bag.” Email questions to clovisamvets2011events@yahoo.com.
