Country Rock Band Announces New Dates for 2026 Tour With Special Guests

Whiskey Myers has announced some exciting news.

The American country rock band revealed on their Instagram on Monday afternoon that they will be extending their tour into the fall. Their tour is set to kick off at Arnold Parks, Iowa on July 2, and conclude in Louisiana on Oct. 17. Whiskey Myers is also set to play shows in Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, California, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida and more. Special guests for select shows include Southall, The Record Company, Evening With, The Ransom Brothers and Taylor Hunnicutt.

"We ain't done yet," Whiskey Myers wrote in their caption. "This fall, we have a few more dates coming for you guys."

Whiskey Myers have been on the Southern Hospitality Tour alongside The Black Crowes since May, and will be embarking on their solo concerts in between shows. The Southern Hospitality Tour recently completed the first half of the North American leg last Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, and will continue the tour in Indianapolis on July 17.

"We've always wanted to play all over, not just, you know, pigeon-hole ourselves into one little category or things that," frontman Cody Cannon told Nashville Insider back in 2019. "So, if we can go play anywhere for people, we're down."

Formed in Palestine, Texas in 2007, friends Cannon and John Jeffers began learning how to play guitar together, and eventually, they recruited Cody Tate, Gary Brown and Jeff Hogg to form a more serious band. They started playing shows around Texas, and started building their following there.

Whiskey Myers has released a total of seven albums since their establishment, with their latest being Whomp Whack Thunder in September 2025. Their second album, Firewater, was released in 2011 and brought them to mainstream fame, debuted in the Top 30 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, thanks to the single "Ballad of a Southern Man."

Presale for Whiskey Myers' upcoming tour will take place on Tuesday at 10 am local time on their official app, while their Facebook fan pre-sale will also take place on Tuesday but at noon. More information can be found on Whiskey Myers' official website.
