Beloved Rock Band Announces New Song 22 Years After Forming

Bring Me The Horizon, the Grammy-nominated British rock band, recently thrilled fans with exciting news.

In an Instagram update, the quartet composed of lead vocalist Oliver "Oli" Sykes, lead and rhythm guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean and drummer Matt Nicholls teased fans with the release of their new single.

The short clip offered a glimpse of the upcoming music video, which started with a mock movie trailer saying, "The following preview has been approved for restricted audiences only by the Nex Gen Department of Truth." Could this be more film-related in nature? Is this their first new music since 2024's Post Human: NeX Gen?

The opening was followed by an eerie scene of a girl crying tears of blood.

The rest of the video showcased a montage of disturbing clips alongside the ominous phrase, "Who will survive and who will be left of them?" sparking anticipation for the band's latest release.

Titled "Dehumanized," the official video will premiere on June 25, marking Bring Me The Horizon's newest chapter in their ever-evolving sound and imagery.

Fans quickly filled the comments section with excitement, sharing their enthusiasm and speculating regarding the group's upcoming activities.

"Deathcore vibes," one wrote.

"You guys never fail to impress us," a commenter said.

"This is hard af," a follower added.

"Bring me the Horror Story. And I'm here for it. This looks so sick!" a fan echoed.

Others also pointed out the resemblance to classic thriller films, praising the teaser's cinematic atmosphere and suspenseful imagery.

"How has still no one caught the Texas Chainsaw Massacre reference yet?" one remarked.

Bring Me The Horizon's upcoming song will be part of their soon-to-be-released album Count Your Blessings | Repented, set to be released on July 10.

The album is a re-recorded 20th anniversary edition of their debut album Count Your Blessings, originally launched in 2006.

Meanwhile "Dehumanized" represents a significant milestone for the group as revisits the deathcore sound that launched their career 22 years after forming in Sheffield, England in 2004.

Apart from the upcoming album, the multi-platinum-selling band is currently on their global tour, POST HUMAN: NeX GEn - The Third Ascension Program.

The tour kicked off with an exclusive 13-date run across North America in April, continuing through May, while the European shows include headlining major rock and metal festivals from June to August.

Beginning in September, the band will embark on another North American tour that runs through October with special guests Motionless In White and The Plot In You.
