Jane Seymour, 75, Reveals How She's Choosing to Age Naturally
Jane Seymour is embracing her natural beauty at every age.
The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star, 75, revealed her secret to aging naturally is "no lasers" and "no fillers" while talking to Page Six at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday, June 11.
"This is what happens," she told the publication at the time, clarifying that she isn't "trying to be 30 when [she 's] 75" before quipping, "I mean, maybe 60 would be nice."
Seymour, who reunites with Dr. Quinn co-star Joe Lando on Acorn TV's Harry Wild, continued of her decision to age naturally, "I've been playing a lot of older women. And the truth is, for me personally, the kind of acting that I do is not about glamour, it's more about serious emotion, and for real authentic emotion, you need every muscle to work."
With age comes more than just beauty, as Seymour revealed that she's the happiest she's ever been at age 75. "I'm on a show that I love, Harry Wild, my fifth season," she said. "Who has a series when they're 75? Nobody. I'm starting a great movie in Australia later this year, I've got a one-woman art show in New Jersey, my family is great, I'm surrounded by music."
Seymour is also newly engaged to fiancé John Zambetti after three years of dating. Zambetti told PEOPLE earlier this month that his romantic proposal at the couple's Malibu home was a bit chaotic, as "the ring popped out of the box."
"Then I had to climb under the bed, and then I couldn't get out, and she had to get out of the bed and pull me out of the bed," he recalled, as Seymour added cheekily, "And we weren't wearing any clothes."
"Serious bedhead involved," she added. "But the funniest part was that he couldn't get up afterwards. His knee was now stuck from being under the bed, and I'm not strong enough to pull him up because he weighs almost twice what I do. We looked at one another and started laughing hysterically."
