Anne Hathaway Confirms Pregnancy With Baby Number 3
Is Anne Hathawaypregnant with baby number three? According to recent photos snapped during a family trip to the French Riviera, she is! But wait, there's more to this story.
While some media outlets initially reported that a bikini-clad Hathaway was bearing a telltale belly bump on the beach, there were only a few pics to back up this story. Almost immediately after the news broke, Hathaway confirmed the rumors, posting a video on Instagram with the caption, "xBaby, I'm yours x."
Aptly set to ‘Baby, I'm Yours' by Barbara Lewis, the mom of two (soon-to-be three) walks into the frame wearing a flowy white dress with her hands coyly clasped around her abdomen. She smiles at the camera and moves her arms to reveal…her pregnant belly.
Fans, friends, and celebs took to Instagram to congratulate Hathaway on her new family addition. Actress Suki Waterhouse wrote, "So happy for you," as others added, "OMG Congrats Anne!" and, "Seriously 5 movies, Arsenal winning, Knicks winning and pregnancy…who is having a better year than Anne?"
News of a third pregnancy may come as a surprise to some fans. The 43-year-old looked anything but preggo at The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere in New York City last April. The actress wore a custom Louis Vuitton tea-length dress with a corset top that definitely showed off her (at the time) flat belly. Fast-forward two months, and she's definitely sporting a major bump.
Who are Anne Hathaway's children?
Hathaway already has two children with her husband, Adam Sculman. The couple married in 2012 and welcomed their first son, Jonathan Rosebanks Schulman, in March of 2016. She gave birth to her younger son, Jack Shulman, in November of 2019.
In 2022, she told WSJ she hoped to have more children someday, saying, "I could see us going for another one." Hathaway added, "There's this tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids, in one light, as if it's all positive. But I know from my own experience… it's so much more complicated than that."
The actress continued, "I didn't feel fully landed and fully here until I was a mom." Hathaway went on to say, "It's not like I was truly lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word."
While Hathway has confirmed her third pregnancy, she has yet to reveal her due date.
