Matt Damon Hasn't Quit on This Action Franchise - Got Any Sequel Ideas? (Exclusive)

This year marks a pair of remarkable milestones when it comes to Matt Damon's Hollywood career.

It's now been 20 years since The Departed hit theaters and a full decade since Damon's latest turn as his iconic action hero, in Jason Bourne.

While speaking exclusively to Parade about his Water.org nonprofit's new Get Blue initiative - which let U.S. consumers get involved easily by purchasing everyday products for a good cause - the Oscar winner, 55, also took time to reflect on his Bourne character, and if another film could ever come about.

"We're always looking to try to get another one of those because we loved it, everyone who worked on them," Damon told Parade. "So there's always some attempt going on to write, to come up with a new story. So if you have anything, let us know."

Meanwhile, the Good Will Hunting star himself is coming up with new ideas in other areas, but for the sake of his charity. He recently expanded his entertainment repertoire, for example, by teaming up with Grammy-winning artist and producer Hit-Boy to try and rap about his Get Blue initiative. Yes, Damon tried to be a rapper.

"Luckily, Hit-Boy is a good actor, so he could keep a straight face through that," Damon told Parade with a laugh. "We're always looking for things that are kind of silly or things that might kind of stop people a little bit and cut through the noise. And that was a really fun one to do... But anything to try to catch people's attention and get kind of open the door and get them into this world, so that we can expose them to this problem, and then show them, you know, the very good news that there are solutions in place, and that they can help."
