Palworld 1.0 Release Date, New Content, and What to Expect From the Full Launch
After more than two years in Early Access, Palworld is finally preparing to reach one of its biggest milestones. During Summer Game Fest 2026, developer Pocketpair officially announced that Palworld version 1.0 will launch on July 10, bringing the survival crafting phenomenon out of Early Access and into its full release.
Since its debut in January 2024, Palworld has become one of the most talked about games on Steam. The title combines open world exploration, survival mechanics, crafting systems, base building, and the collection of creatures known as Pals. Throughout its Early Access period, the game received numerous updates that introduced new regions, new Pals, additional bosses, weapons, features, and gameplay improvements. The upcoming 1.0 release represents the culmination of that development process.
Pocketpair first revealed plans for the full release in 2025, explaining that the team wanted additional time not only to add content but also to improve the overall quality of the game. According to the developers, a significant amount of work was dedicated to addressing technical issues, polishing systems, and preparing Palworld for its official launch rather than simply continuing to expand the game indefinitely through Early Access updates.
The Mystery of the World Tree
One of the most significant elements highlighted by Pocketpair involves the World Tree. Since the earliest days of Palworld, players have been able to see the enormous tree in the distance. However, reaching it has remained impossible. As part of the road toward version 1.0, Pocketpair previously confirmed that the World Tree would eventually become accessible, and the latest trailer strongly suggests that players will finally uncover its secrets.
The cinematic footage shown during Summer Game Fest features new landscapes surrounding the tree and hints at an unknown presence connected to it. Although the developers have not explained exactly what players will find there, the World Tree appears to be one of the major focuses of the full release.
With a confirmed release date of July 10, 2026, the wait is almost over. After years of updates, experimentation, and expansion, Palworld is finally ready to leave Early Access behind and enter its next chapter as a full release.
