Chrishell Stause Calls Out Reality Stars Backing Spencer Pratt After Los Angeles Mayor Results
Chrishell Stause is not holding back after Spencer Pratt's surprising showing in the Los Angeles mayoral race.
The Selling Sunset star reacted on Threads after Pratt, best known for The Hills, emerged as a serious contender in the race against incumbent Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Councilmember Nithya Raman.
"Every single reality person I have tussled with voted for Pratt today," Stause wrote on Threads. "This feels very validating. Thank you for proving yourselves to be complete morons."
Stause did not name the reality stars she was referring to in the original post, but Just Jaredreported that she appeared to be calling out fellow reality TV personalities who supported Pratt's campaign, including Selling Sunset stars Mary Bonnet and Sandra Vergara.
The post quickly drew a mixed reaction, with some fans praising Stause for speaking out and others criticizing the tone of her comments.

Stause later followed up with another post, responding to critics who called her a "washed-up reality star."
"The funniest pro Pratt responses to me have been-you're nothing but a washed-up reality star -shut up!" she wrote. "They truly don't have two brain cells to rub together."
The comments section under Stause's post showed how divided some reality TV fans were over the election. One supporter wrote, "This is why real fans always sided with you," while another said they felt "validated" as a longtime fan of the Selling Sunset star.

Spencer Pratt's L.A. Mayor Run Drew Reality TV Attention
Pratt's campaign has attracted plenty of attention because of his reality TV background and the unusually competitive mayoral race.
NBC News reported that Bass was leading the L.A. mayoral primary with 34.8 percent of the vote, followed by Pratt at 30.4 percent at the time of posting. The Guardian reported that Bass was headed to a November runoff after failing to secure more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary, though the final matchup was still dependent on remaining vote counts.
Pratt entered the race after losing his home in the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires and has criticized Bass' wildfire response as a central part of his campaign. His candidacy has also drawn support from some public figures and reality-adjacent personalities, making the race a topic far beyond traditional local politics.
Before the election, Stause had already criticized Pratt's support. Back in May, she called out Katharine McPhee after McPhee and her husband, David Foster, performed at a fundraiser for Pratt's mayoral campaign.
At the time, Stause wrote on Threads, "If you're in these streets campaigning for Trump-backed Pratt, yeah, I'm gonna eye roll your advice on men, Katherine."
For now, the final shape of the L.A. mayoral runoff is still developing as votes continue to be counted. But Stause has already made her position clear: she sees Pratt's reality-TV support as confirmation of where she stands with some of her former on-screen circles.
