‘Michael' Gets New Digital Release Date – How to Stream
“Michael,” the biopic depicting the early years of Michael Jackson, burst into theaters at the end of April and made an immediate impact with audiences who have given the film a 97% Verified Hot rating on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
Critics may not have agreed with them, but that didn’t stop “Michael” from already making over $850 million at the worldwide box office at the time of reporting.
Starring Michael Jackson’s nephew, son of Jermaine Jackson, Jaafar Jackson, “Michael” follows the titular star from the early rise of The Jackson 5, through to Michael pursuing his solo career and breaking away from the band.
The film is now heading for its home release, starting June 9 when it becomes available to rent and buy across Video on Demand platforms. It will then be available to purchase on physical media such as DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD from July 14.
