Emilie Kiser Returns To Instagram Following Hiatus For Anniversary of Son's Death

Influencer Emilie Kiser returned to social media after she announced that she was taking a break ahead of the first anniversary of her 3-year-old son Trigg's tragic death.

"Hi guys. I have missed you and missed posting on here 🤍," she posted on her Instagram Story on Monday, June 1. "With that being said, l am so grateful for the time I took off of posting and the way that allowed me to be with my family, and feel all the emotions and waves of grief in the hardest month of our lives."

"We were able to connect deeper with long-distance family and take some time away ourselves, which gave us some needed space from parts of daily life that have felt especially difficult this past month and year," she continued. "We made new memories as a family with Teddy and most importantly spent time together remembering our Triggy. I am so grateful for the sweet messages and love that I have come back to. I truly have the best community and I couldn't do this job without you guys."

Trigg died on May 18, 2025, which was six days after he was found unconscious in their family's backyard pool. Emilie was not home at the time, but her husband Brady was there with their younger son Teddy. The Chandler Police Department investigated the incident and recommended that Brady be charged with a class 4 felony of child abuse. However, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office did not charge him as there was "no likelihood of conviction."

Emilie has opened up about her grief to her vast following on social media, with a following of over 2 million on Instagram. She also has 5.2 million followers on TikTok. In a video pinned to her profile, Emilie opens up about drowning awareness, expressing that she hopes "this helps people and educates people."
