'90s Rock Band, Ranked Among Greatest Supergroups of All Time, Announces First Song in Eight Years
A Perfect Circle, the legendary โ90s supergroup, is back in the spotlight after delivering surprising news to fans.
Ranked among the best supergroups of all time, the five-piece band is making a long-awaited comeback after going through multiple extended hiatuses throughout their music career.
A Perfect Circle, which comprises lead vocalist Maynard James Keenan from Tool and Puscifer, lead guitarist and primary songwriter Billy Howerdel, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist James Iha from The Smashing Pumpkins, bassist Matt McJunkins and drummer Josh Freese of Foo Fighters, released a new single, "Starless."
In an announcement shared on their official Instagram, the band billed their new song as a "re-emergence" ahead of their European tour.

The announcement sparked excitement among fans who are thrilled to watch the band live on their string of shows.
"Oooooohhhh fantastic!!! It seems the tour will be amazing," one wrote.
"OMG YESSS! What a way to kick off the tour!" a commenter said.
"Wow! Amazing song, can't wait to hear this on your European lineup!"
Others also admired how "Starless" was crafted, praising its haunting atmosphere and powerful lyrics.

"Starless" marked the band's first first major new release song since their last full studio album, Eat the Elephant in 2018.
On the other hand, the supergroup is booked and busy with back-to-back shows for its global tour.
A Perfect Circle 2026 World Tour will kick off on June 3, starting with the U.K. and European leg running from June to July, followed by a series of shows from November to December for the Pacific Ring of Fire leg with guest band Puscifer.
