FAREVER Hits 100,000 Units Sold In First Week Of Early Access

FAREVER is shaping up to be Shiro Games' latest hit. The online multiplayer action RPG that entered Early Access just a week ago has hit 100,00 units sold on Steam, off the back of its 175,000 wishlists when it was first revealed last year at the PC Gaming Show. It was indeed one of this year's most anticipated games.

FAREVER's online action role-playing game invites players to explore the fantasy world of Siagarta, either alone or with friends. FAREVER sports a colorful, cozy aesthetic that makes it more appealing to a wider audience, and its inviting look is already making it popular among gaming circles.

Not resting on their laurels, Shiro Games is promising continuous fixes and updates throughout the game's Early Access run, releasing its first patch this Wednesday.

"While we were confident that Farever's world would resonate with adventurers, seeing them flock in droves to the Early Access launch has us even more excited about its future," says Shiro Games CEO Nicolas Cannasse. "Our goal is to create an immersive and enjoyable experience based on player feedback throughout Early Access, and we're committed to frequent updates over the coming months to make Farever event better."

This is necessary for the game's survival, too, as Farever currently sits at a measly 66% Mixed reviews on Steam. The silver lining? Almost 3,000 players left their impressions on the game's Steam reviews, indicating a strong community that really has an investment into this game's eventual success.

Shiro Games' roadmap for Farever includes additional regions, more enemy factions, World Events, increased difficulty modes, a Faction reputation system, an increased level cap, new classes and talent trees, more collection elements, new weapons and weapon skills, and social features such as a Guild System and PvP.
