Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen Separate After 18 Years of Marriage
Jason Biggsand Jenny Mollen's 18-year marriage has come to an end, the couple revealed Thursday.
A rep for the pair confirmed the split to multiple outlets, including People, expressing that the two have separated but remain on "good terms" and plan to co-parent their two sons, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8. Despite the split, the couple reportedly spent Biggs' 48th birthday together as a family, just two days before the announcement.
The pair met on the set of the raunchy R-rated comedy My Best Friend's Girl in 2007. Biggs proposed just six months later, and they eloped in April 2008. Biggs and Mollen have joked about how they got married in a FedEx-Kinkos parking lot in Calabasas, California, while wearing pajamas. Later, they had a formal wedding in Napa Valley before welcoming two sons.
Over the years, Biggs and Mollen have been open about their marriage and what it takes to make it work, as she jokingly stated that the secret to their longevity has been "a lot of therapy." She doubled down, saying that she and Biggs "spent thousands of dollars in therapy so you don't have to," while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
"We eloped after only knowing each other for nine months," Mollen said of her and Biggs' 2008 nuptials in that same interview. "We really didn't know each other. Let's be honest, it was just kind of luck."
The news came as a surprise to many who followed the longtime couple. Biggs, who has been open about his sobriety journey since 2017, previously credited Mollen for standing by him during his struggles with alcoholism, telling US Weekly in 2019 that their relationship has been "better than it's ever been." As recently as April 2025, Mollen shared an Instagram post to celebrate 17 years of marriage to the American Pie star.
